Interesting theory about the dog skull....it was found in the woods near a rather sketchy neighborhood, wedged beside the tracks of an old, abandoned bulldozer. Upon closer inspection after getting it home, I discovered what appears to be a bullet hole just beneath the right eye socket, and a potential exit wound at the back of the skull. By the size and shape of the skull, I guess it a pit bull. I wonder if the dog was involved in any of the local fighting operations and, if so, why would any of the lowlifes involved in that waste a bullet on it? In this area they tend to just toss unwanted dogs into the nearest ditch. A mystery never to be solved, I suppose.
